A reprint of the Rev Robert Kirks manuscript originally written in the 1690's. The manuscript is an account of the Reverands visits to Fairy Hill (Doon Hill) in Aberfoyle, where, through a door in the Fairy Tree, he entered the underworld land. The manuscript contains sketches lifted from his original drawings. Reverand Kirk was said to be taken by the fairies and some believe he resides forever in the land of the fairies as console to the fairy king and queen.
